The Woodies Podcast - September Edition

Our third instalment of the internationally acclaimed podcast. This month's episode features an interview with Dave Mitchell on what we're getting up to in the Autumn term and also the why behind it. We interview Emily Quilter about her amazing work in the field of leprosy treatment and Jon Peach, who shares about recently representing GB in a futsal competition and how he came to faith.

Sometimes we are accused of offering a ‘cheap’ gospel; God is so loving and so for us that to be a Christian is blessing all the way without cost. Jesus however combined the proclamation of good news with a stark call to follow the way of the cross (The Calvary Road). To follow Jesus is to embrace a life that may involve suffering and persecution. For those of us in the West it’s a challenge to listen to the persecuted Church.
