Join us to welcome back and be inspired in your faith by our friends who are serving overseas, plus those who are our "local globals" living in UK, all sharing their relationship with their best friend Jesus in places where he is not yet known. .
Areas represented on the weekend will be Peru, Romania, France, Hungary , East Asia, Ethiopia and Bristol as well as Open Doors and International Justice Mission, global mission organisations. Here are some events that you can sign up for:

Men's Breakfast, Crypt 9 am - 1030 am (Enjoy a Full English and talk from one of our Global Partners on "Overseas mission - compelled, commanded or called?") Please sign up for this event.
Easton Outreach, Bristol 9.45 am to 12.30pm - opportunity to share the good news creatively alongside our Global Partners (meeting at Easton Christian Family Centre , Beaufort Street, Easton, BS5 0SQ - off street parking available). Orientation and worship, followed by walking the streets,engaging in conversation with the ethnic communities of that area. Please sign up so that we know you’re coming!
Sunday 16th June
Speed Networking with a Global Partners, in the Crypt - 4.30 to 6.30 pm (plus pizza) . Ten interactive stands for each of our global partners plus IJM and Open Doors. A chance to understand in depth how we can give, go and pray for the world. Come for all or some of the time, followed by free pizza before the evening service. Please let us know you’re coming!
In addition, all our main Sunday services will have testimonies and opportunities to connect with our Global Partners.

Women's Conference 22nd June
To all the women in the church….
We would love to invite you to join us for the annual Woodies Women’s morning on Saturday June 22nd 8.45am - 1pm at Woodies. The theme of the morning is “Confidence, in ourselves, the gospel and our calling”.
Charmian Arevalo-Squire will be speaking and there will be an opportunity to hear from women from our group of churches who have put their full confidence in the gospel and what it looks like in different contexts. Worship will be led by April Ballard and there will be an opportunity to receive prayer . Registration is open!
Our verse for the morning is Romans 1:16 “I have complete confidence in the gospel. It is God’s power to save all who believe."

Strength Bible School - Women in Ministry, 4th June
We have some amazing women leaders and preachers in our church, but how do we take the Bible seriously and understand what it says about the role of women within church and in particular interpret some of Paul’s writing in 1 Corinthians and 1 Timothy where he seems to put restrictions on women.
On Tuesday evening (4th June, 7.45pm) we will be running the first of our Summer Strength Bible School evenings looking at the topic of “Women in ministry”. We will look at the way Jesus treated and related to women and consider two principles of biblical interpretation that will help us be inspired as we see how women should be released to serve God wholeheartedly.
All welcome, so do join us in the Foyer this Tuesday
